1. Who we are

InvestingProphet is operated as a personal project. As the operator, I am the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can contact me at hello@investingprophet.net.

2. What data we collect and why

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or any data beyond what is listed above. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data processors (third parties)

We share your data only with the following processors, under their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — stores your account credentials and subscription records (servers in the EU/US). supabase.com/privacy
  • Stripe — processes payments and stores billing information. stripe.com/privacy

4. Retention

  • Account data (email, password) — kept for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Subscription and billing records — retained for 7 years to meet accounting and legal obligations.

5. Cookies and session storage

We use strictly necessary cookies only — set by Supabase to maintain your login session. These cookies are required for the service to work and do not require consent under GDPR/ePrivacy. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Your dashboard filter preferences are saved in sessionStorage, which stays in your browser only and is cleared when you close the tab.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection / restriction — object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
